Event Cleaning

Outdoor:

  • Remove any trash from the event space/yard/trash cans – (additional trash bins in the bottom of the barn, replace bag from bottom of the house)

  • Bring trash cans to the curb

  • Wipe down event tables - green wipes in the bottom of the basement

  • Wipe down cocktail tables - green wipes in the bottom of the basement

  • Place stools under cocktail tables

  • Place chairs under event tables

  • Leave 3 folding tables along with side of the inside of the barn, bring others to the bottom of the barn basement

  • Bring black table clothes into the laundry room and run if the washer is available (do not combine with any other laundry since the dye stains other fabric)

  • Put table runners through the wash (do not combine with black table clothes) - see below any additional rental cleaning instructions

  • Put any rentals that are out back to the basement of the inn

  • Bring lost and found items to the upstairs “office”

  • Ensure that the air conditioning/heat is turned off in the inn (downstairs thermostat + 2 upstairs units)

  • Blow the barn if necessary (only if food or other things seem to be in the open area)

Inn Cleaning

  • Wipe down bathrooms with wipes located in bathroom vanity.

  • Replace trashes

  • Vacuum main floor

  • Swiffer bathrooms/hallway

  • Clean inside of fridge, microwave, coffee pot

  • Wipe down surfaces of main floor

  • Tidy the upstairs if specified below (move any furniture, straighten beds, vacuum if needed)


Special Instructions by Date:



September 18:

-Put trash barells at the bottom of the barn since there will be a second wedding this weekend

-Retrieve the wooden rounds and serving boards that were used by the last wedding and place in the bottom of the house.

-Bathroom may already get cleaned from the attendant the night before… but otherwise the bathrooms cleaning + the entire main floor cleaning (wipe surfaces, new trash bags, vacuum).



-Retrieve the following items from the basement and put in the barn:

just put all the mini vases out, no need to count

The vases can go back to the bottom of the house in a bin there

The Jenga, cornhole, easel, & donut display can stay out wherever they are at (but you could tidy them if necessary)
